A Father's NoteA Poem by Mary Jain
It was a Dream worth our waiting,
Every minute of those days and nights We couldn't be happier ever than this, Jumping into the suit of Parents-to-be. Since We started our journey, Your Mom made me surprised a lot But she did manage to beat it all, Whispering in my ears 'You're Coming'. You and Mom, a Bond made in Womb, Sharing those baby kicks and punches. I was jealous to the very extent, Not being part of those little Chit-Chats. You had a 'Special Gift' for Me, Choosing me for your very first baby cry. I cherish every moment of being your Dad, It was a Dream worth our waiting. © 2023 Mary JainFeatured Review
