Neither gone nor here (Free verse)

Neither gone nor here (Free verse)

A Poem by Mary Helda
"

Even death can not change certain things..

"
How dare you?
Adorn yourself with rejection
Jolting a sword into my tender heart
The beauty beholding a baby
Changed your tune no less
Unavoidable fragrance of tranquility fading into nothingness

How dare you?
Become one with death
Tattering a broken heart...
A shadow lurks in. my heart...
Swaying to the rhythm of my pain

How dare you,father?
Cowardice looks splendid on you
I do not hate you:yet i can not love you

You are gone with the answers
And the questions buried deep in me
They do not rest in peace…

This is one of those gut wrenching poems which when i read i end up in a state of a total blank. But that's just for a second, because then the emotions burst and my body and face fail to hide it. No i would say my heart weeps and yet i must stay strong and write this review, for it truly is a necessity.

Losing someone we love is very hard to deal with. Often we get mad at them for leaving us, and it's hard to accept that they aren't hear with us anymore. Your poem described all of that. Thank you for sharing.

and we can feel the deepness of this sentiment...

sometimes we get so mad at those who leave us too soon---there is that certain anger we don't mean to feel, but we do...i can feel your writes when i read them, from the heart and real.

Yes,you are right..thank you:-)
I feel all your poems arise from that spot..deep within your heart. The emotions are always glaring.
A little hint though; not all answers are worth having...sometimes we should aim to enjoy life's mysteriousness.

So many emotions in this Mary Helda; love, anger, regret, sadness - and the desire for answers that have been stolen from you by his ally 'Death'.
A truly moving poem.
