WINDOW OF MY SOUL

window of my soul
for so long
framed by illusion
today I lean over
in this imaginary ledge
observing my life passing by
sensing a change
intense and beautiful

a sweet wind
that swings the curtains
of my being

window of my soul

I don’t want sad landscapes
today I don’t want a rain
that doesn’t go away
I don’t want that pain
that doesn’t subside
today I want so much
to be an imaginary artist
of my destiny
grasp the brushes of my tenderness
my colors of love

and paint a landscape

without any bitterness
window of my soul

I wish this landscape

to be full of flowers
full of colors

and eternal
