Damask Rose

Damask Rose

A Poem by Mary Bosworth

The birth of the soul
Harmoniousness sunrise
The moment of life
As one opens his eyes

A biography has begun
Lessons and mistakes
Learning to exist
Whatever it takes

Friendships and family
Become stronger each day
Some stay forever
Some walk away

Professions and careers
Lovers and foes
The torn in your heart
Or the beautiful rose

Marriage and children
Houses and cars
Growing to provide
From the moon to the stars

Cherished and nurtured
From diapers through school
Favours returned
Becomes the golden rule…

Well expressed, well penned, so many naked truths and stereotyped pattern of life is genuinely expressed, but the key is can you and me become the single entrepreneur who can sail our ship the way we wish irrespective of the destined voyage, can we try at least that is the key

From the beginning wonder to the trivial moments of life, a road followed, until the end, memories collected and stored. I believe it was Shakespeare, who said, 'The day were born, is the day we begin dying,' but it's the 'in between' that matters.
