Pain is like a whip

Pain is like a whip

A Poem by Mary Bosworth

Eyes don't fade
impressions
hiding , maybe.
Left to the wind
over and under
wonders never
cease to amaze
the Heart
the Mind
No matter what
inflammatory as
I am ... still I
leave imprints on your
Heart...
Hurt
is the biggest part
Pain is like a whip
every-time I
get strong
I slip,
like a knot.
It can suffocate
or
invigorate
Let me be...
your knot
come see
how easily
I can tie
you
into ...me~!
Come
on and ...see.

...it is very much like a whip, never ceasing to remind us where it hurts the most.
