Healing Hands

Healing Hands

A Poem by Mary Bosworth

Healing hands
Ease pain in hearts
Longing to feel loved again

Thoughtful moments
Shared as a gift
For nourishment

Taking on tears
Of another
Mending - piece by piece

If all I had
If all I wanted
Was to heal

And if the sound of smiling
And if the sound of voices
And if the sound of you becoming anew
Was all I was brought to here for

Then it is good.

My hope for me
Is that I find my healer
That I realize my voice
...is what needs to be heard
And that I am all that is beautiful
Just for one.

Then, I won't ever be abandoned again.

Such a delightfully calming piece. This is stupendous and one thing about the writer sings out off of the page to me above the rest - humility.
