Fertility of nature, and in particular, women, has always been the ultimate source of strength and power of this human condition. The Celts knew. You explore this from the gentle side without the rage and posturing of men. This piece is wonderful and thought provoking stuff. Bravo!
I am amazed by this piece really I am.. It is quite skillfully penned and the emotions and feelings woven into it are also very eloquently done.. Great work..
I think you have done a great job on this, it certainly keeps the reader glued to the piece right to the very end. You carried this theme through with excellent form and a rhythm that moves it quickly down the page. Excellent work
Hey, Mary: A very enriching piece to empower women; I’ve often considered the adage, “Men can’t make a baby, so they have no right to tell a woman when and where they can create one.” It is in truth that the fatality of man lies in the womb and hearts of women. Being men, it is in our most primal nature to avoid neutering; rather, we instill survival and the instincts of protection (of course considering today’s modern man, these traits fall short of some men). Women are the pinnacle of love, understanding, and compassion; they are the bearers of light and life; but, let’s not forget, without Adam there would be no Eve; and without, Eve, Adam would have surely died, regardless of the serpent’s ploy. It is in equality that humanity can shoulder the day to days woes, when man falls, he needs a woman to lift him back up. I enjoyed reading this, and thanks again for sending some of your readers to my work. Take care.
