Well, for whatever cause There was no answer So write I did A catharsis per se Of an interest that was not to be . . .
So alike Yet very different Two sides in one Loving Indifferent . . .
The wall goes up The distance is safe To be loving or be guarded Which shall the loved ones’ see . . .
A game of interest it is not For a mystic connection is rare indeed In true bonding there is no greed To share is to gain Self-interest is a sure lost . . .
Acceptance is harmony Change is impossible Awareness is rewarding “Manage” is the key Motivation is self Effort and Sincerity are priceless . . .
Reason without logic Is wishful thinking Acceptance without reality Is fantasy . . .
An effort was made The questions were asked The answer was none Excellent clue that it was done . . .
What a beautiful expression of traits needed, yet nonexistent. When reading the title I expected to read a fantasy of some sort or a political sham. The surprise was thrilling. It's always refreshing to see titles drawing one in and then adding an unexpected twist. Your words flowed freely, lifting emotion off the page. I only noticed one possible error, though you may have intended it this way.
Self-interest is a sure lost-(Self-interest is a sure loss) or (Self-interest is surely lost) would flow better, in my personal opinion. However I am a firm believer in the concept that poetry is lawless. Thank you for sharing and please return the favor by reviewing one of my pieces.

A wonderful and insightful spiritual write. We do have a tendency to look for meaning in others … alas in my experience that is indeed myth chasing.
