I Never Noticed What A beautiful Face You Had

I Never Noticed What A beautiful Face You Had

A Poem by Mary Bosworth

He said:
I may marry, but it won't be you
I may have children, but it won't be you
He said:
Do you want to be my friend?

yes

When he left
she thought
perhaps to toss
her self off
the third floor
balcony

Instead
to keep herself
busy
she cut off
her long mahogany hair.

When it was bagged
she didn't think
about the balcony again.

The next day
at coffee
the hairdressers
were ecstatic
oh gorgeous my dear

I never noticed what a beautiful
face you had

I truly like the way you portrait the elegance in depicting beauty, you have control on your flow. Smooth write and enjoyable read.

He looked but didn't see, a not uncommon affliction.

Really liked this.

Beccy.

Sometimes people are not looking at the real beauty in life.

It would have been a real loss if the third floor balcony won rather than cutting Mahogany hair, the idiots who embrace the balcony must read this poem, nothing against or judge anyone but denigrating own life is utter stupidity
