Swimming
A Chapter by burnhouse
Among all the wrecked ships, you've found Atlantis within me. From the very first time you dived into my mind " accidentally, slipping off the cliff of Pure Friendship, I knew you weren’t meant for safety coasts. The waves of my love have never been steady, but you didn’t drown. Feelings were your substitute for air and I was waiting at the bottom, aching to inhale some off your lips. You fought through the creatures of doubt no matter how deep was the darkness that tried to swallow us both. Not even the lack of sunlight could lure you back to the surface.
Did you know, Adrienne? You’ve built my pillars back up. I was no longer a ghost town, longing for life under the countless layers of Cold Ocean. You swam right into my heart
