A Hoot Owl

A Hoot Owl

A Poem by Honey-Bee

Hearing a owl hoot at midnight
Upon my bed I wake
As the moon seeps through my window
A prayer for you I make

My dreams pour forth
And gleam across the lake
They set sail upon the water
And carry my prayers that I make

I say good night my friend
sleep tight and dream well
Hold on to your dreams and visions
for prayers have set a sail

A beautiful poem.
"My dreams pour forth
And gleam across the lake
They set sail upon the water
And carry my prayers that I make"
I liked the use of the owl. The poem had the feel of a prayer. Thank you dear friend for sharing the excellent poetry.
