Two by Two Or Was It Seven?A Poem by Honey-Bee
Two By Two Or Was It Seven?
They came two by two As the rain they did predict First the caterpillars came and were placed on sticks (The butterflies came later) Doves were set on a cooing shelf So soft and warm Peacocks came flaunting their feathers Oh how they did have charm! Then came the blue birds with worms in their beaks The camels came with water to seek Rabbits came hopping along To help celebrate Easter I believe one of them was named Peter Monkeys played as they jumped aboard Noah and his wife came with all they stored Somewhere down the line the story goes That of each creature there were actually seven Possibly the reason being was to help celebrate A feast of sacrifice without any leaven © 2014 Honey-BeeReviews
