An Indian Maiden
The mountains sing of an ancient song about an Indian maiden Who gave birth to her first born son (Lusio--meaning light,) just as the morning sun shone over the mountains. Her cry of delight filled her voice with such an astonishing magnificent new song, that it still echos through the hidden valley. Horseman who ride through the rugged terrain have made claims to hearing the maiden sing. © 2014 Honey-Bee |
