Helen
A Poem by
Mary C
She is feather and glass,
as she lifts indignant chin
and spits words like wax.
They land in tiny rivulets.
Crawl like snakes
down her arm,
and wrap around gnarled fingers.
She clenches and releases. Clenches and releases.
Snaps her jaw tight, and stares behind her.
I lotion her skin,
smooth unruly hair
and offer her tea.

That was truly some captivating lines...in these lines you create a character being hounded for and that's incredible... Thanks for the read.. :)

In a few words you have created
the essence of a character .
An incredible talent, a gift that
brings pleasure to every one who
reads you.
Thank You
