slow circles

slow circles

A Poem by Mary C

fingertips trace
            slow circles on his temples
           i gaze down
          barely whisper-

                   "god...     i love your mouth"

he pauses
       searches my hooded eyes

     "i meant it...     you know?

            - i'd move   heaven and earth for you"

my back arches involuntarily

                        " you already are..."
