Orange County Choppers

Orange County Choppers

A Poem by Mary C

It's not that I'm opposed to motorcycles.
I understand your need to feel
something sizable humming
between your legs.

I've been there myself.

For tonight though,
I'd love to sit in a dark corner
on a leather couch
and build dreams on potential,

untangle our past
and weave futures with
our fingers.

I want to deliberate on your breath
and gather myself into your hands.

You know, if you choose to rise to my needs,
you'd have my full attention.

But baby, I'm an artist,
stimulated by beautiful things,
I'm just not diggin'
fat boys on hogs tonight.

I like how you change tone in the poem. Going from building dreams on potential back to real life and fat boys on hogs.

An interestingly laid out piece which layers in neatly all the different meanings

She needs something sizable there too, and it can buzz too.
