HEARTS OF STEEL

HEARTS OF STEEL

A Poem by Marvin
"

Poem about human hearts

"
Life takes us to places unknown
no maps, dark roads, no signs shown
just the feeling that we are right
is what keeps us in the fight
deep down we know, fall we might
yet still, we believe at the end of the dark roads, is light

many times we fall
but we rise and fight again
our dreams fall, in dirt they roll
but we pick them up, wipe the stains

then

we take aim once more
we hit, we miss
either way, we find another door

our achievements are folded neat
and we rise to harder challenges we meet
it is easier than to accept defeat
thats the cycle, it's like we just press repeat

hearts of steel
hardest to peel
is what we are
