I Stand Amazed

I Stand Amazed

A Poem by Benedict Mdluli

Deep in thoughts.
Auditing my faults.
Weak in the joints,
I need tying bolts.

Life is a moving boat.
Destiny is placed,
The captain is checked.
The thirst is quenched.

Clean hands just that you're framed.
How do you tell someone is fake.
Smiling and looking sweet like hake,
white meat and medium flake.

I'm really deep in thought.
How a man who spends his days
sleeping on the couch expects to
drive a Porsche?.

I stand amazed, deep in thought.
Auditing my faults. I know it's my call
to ask the LORD to change it all.
