The Clinch of Silver ThoughtsA Poem by Benedict MdluliRandom thoughts that come to a man's mind love, life, etcTime to time a piece of cake is cut crime is on the rise. We
cry time is money but it passes by still no honey. My dreams and
my visions are purloined painted purple pioneered overseas. Paper has remained in charge ever since I can remember, That is why we all gang members where we need to be sharp as
a razor. Moonlight ladies care not for man with no chambers. I invited you for drinks you decided to occupy my turf, well
we all know its tit for tat “butter for feta” the ones with guns
should keep them blazing the victim should run and hold onto praying. You dangerous and instill more fear than death, you kill with
Kindness and enjoy with a smile. Preachers point at people saying
they are casting the devils out but they are heavy laden with
hell, I question who is going to help. Pray with me encourage me every day Heaven is so close than
we think I can feel it when I cry; faith is all we have got to stop the ship from Sinking. I have learnt to
nurse my sorrows and my thoughts are Deep, the world is so creepy the rich are picky, the poor
remain sticky Allow me to spend some time with my sweetheart, don’t ambush my dreams, peace is all I want, me and her holding hands is
the only thing in my mind, with the freedom to gaze at the towers and the stars. © 2014 Benedict Mdluli |
