Fear StealsA Poem by Benedict MdluliFight Fear, Steer the ship My
heart feels, everything is good, Then fear comes to steal. OH!,
The pain that I have to bear. It’s like a stab of a spear. All
I had is gone, all I have is going This is my round, I stand my ground FEAR YOU BOUND! You have no timing, like the storms Your
damage is beyond that of lightning I’ve never seen. the heart faint, & you taste my faith. Well I’m tired of you, today you going to
fail. Fear you are there but you don’t
exist I hear about you
like Hitler in the books of history it from the greatest to the smallest I take my stand even if I have to pay
with my last breath You’re like a “GODZILLA AN ART OF DESTRUCTION” Show yourself a
man, I’ll show you were the line is. FEAR I fear to say I fear you and be your
slave, be tight is bright, all I need is light © 2014 Benedict Mdluli |
