SnowA Poem by Annalisa (Marujuust)Lyrics written May 28th, 2022
I Think I miss the snow
I Think I skipped the ground I Think I’d rather know The only way to drown I can’t pick out snowflakes From either layer’s side To care for my headaches And step up as my guide I strain too many necks But my hands remain weak And the birds are so wrecked That they sell out the beaks Either channel twenty-four Or a home without a door Both my friends play a cold war My side is too much a chore Sometimes I really wanna say I do (*3) But the only way I can go Is glassy static glows The only way to go is in the snow I Think I miss the snow I Think I skipped the ground I Think I’d rather know The only way to drown I can’t pick out snowflakes From either layer’s side To care for my headaches And step up as my guide I strain too many necks But my hands remain weak And the birds are so wrecked That they sell out the beaks Either channel twenty-four Or a home without a door Both my friends play a cold war My side is too much a chore Sometimes I really want to say I do (*3) But the only way I can go Is glassy static glows The only way to go is in the snow Only way to go is in the snow (*3)
