A Poem by Annalisa (Marujuust)
"

Written June 10, 2020

"
The movie’s blank screen seems to come alive
There she is taking up a movie role
My mind has left its shell to see her thrive
Her only fan being my empty soul

Soon, it had already come to an end
I take my mind and walk down the dark aisle
But each day, I’d come and see her again
That same aisle, giving life to an unborn child

My mind would never once see me again
It was long before I became aware
Strange, a thing like that was beyond my ken
It took a boy’s words and twelve people’s stares

The boy rushed up to me, looking worried
He said I looked like I had seen a ghost

Author's Note

Annalisa (Marujuust)
Written for school almost two years ago, 8th grade. What garbage. I will admit I've written worse things before that but I'm not going to be publishing or even looking at those any time soon.

Originally titled "Movie Role," but Writer'sCafe will not let me use that title? Why? I have no clue. The amount of times I've had to look at that stupid "error 001" banner is insane. I would've never thought the title was what was causing it - it's not like the title is something explicit.

I don't know what to say here. I really like music. Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Jerry Cantrell and his solo stuff, Tad, The White Stripes, Local H, MCR, a lot of stuff. I guess that's all .. more..
