The slam I couldn't writeA Poem by Marty HerrickA poetry slam poem that I couldn't write for school.I hate you. And not just a little bit, I hate you every time you tell me im not good enough Not smart enough, Not pretty enough, not thin enough, not perfect enough. I hate you Every time you look at me sadly, Or dissapointedly, or irritatedly. And I hate that you don't think I can talk or write or dance or march or anythng without your nagging voice. So here I am to say I hate you, but I love you too. So thanks, And no thanks Mom, For all the crap you do. © 2011 Marty HerrickAuthor's Note
