You're a sky full of stars,

I will give you my heart,

I don't care whatever happens,

Even if life blackens.

I don't care, tear me,

Let it be,

I don't care if you do,

I will stay, and I should.

You're a sky full of stars,

I will give you my heart,

Break, drop, still not sad,

Break my heart, still not mad.

Far away, still love connected,

Still here, everything accepted,

I don't care if you do,

I willl stay, and I should.

                                                                             

Author's Note

I was inspired by Coldplay's song 'A Sky Full Of Stars" and so I decided to write a poem related to this. It is like loving someone so much that even if they hurt you, you don’t mind, because they are as special to you as the stars in the sky.

This is a charming poem, and in our world of so much uncertainty and change; the sky and stars above are always there - as a reliable constant.

Whatever happens in our minds, hearts or during our mortal lives; we can still gaze up in wonder at night. Indeed, look up to the heavens and reflect upon someone who we are fond of and trust; despite being so far apart from one another. Although, who knows what might happen in life; to help bridge that gap between the two persons..? Meanwhile, let us hope that their connection might gradually strengthen & grow.

Nicely written, my friend! This poem carries such a strong sense of devotion and unwavering love. The repetition adds to the emotional depth, making the feelings even more powerful. There’s a quiet resilience in the words that makes it truly beautiful. I relate to this poem a lot, I love a guy who lots of my friends tell me I shouldn't because they say that he did so many things wrong to me but I am numb to that because I don't think he did anything to me at all. I prefer to love him too much than not enough. I will definitely listen to the song by Coldplay you mentioned! Lovely work!

this is more of an unconditional love, where someone loves you always, doesn't matter. for me personally, I think - the only person in this world capable of unconditional love is dear Mother. But this is a sweet poem, honestly written with spreading love always. You have lovely thoughts here, always be that beautiful heart, Martiya. so nice to read and enjoyed it. Thanks.
