Are you trying to find me love,

Or the enemies you shove?

Do you want to sleep with me in the night,

Or just want to play in the light?

Is you purpose only to be with me,

Or is there a reason for you to leave?

I can't feel or hear it,

See you gray bit by bit.

Errie and dark,

Darker the marks.

So to stay you need power,

Or only for hours?

Shadows, tell me why,

There is no reason for you to say bye?

Are you just protecting me,

And are you even full of glee?

...another small criticism: Maybe it's just me, but I've always thought the word "glee" cheapens a poem, It's too obvious, to easy to use as a rhyme. Haha, every poem my mother, who I loved dearly, ever wrote included "glee." 😉

Glee means happiness, so I thought if that shadows could contain a slight happiness, so :)
And who stops me to write any word? Except... If there is a mistake
