Heart

Heart

A Poem by Martiya Daman

Heart
Echoes of our Heart's desire,
What we admire,
Beating every veins, every second,
Feeling pain, teaching lessons.

One trip off, a terror, or a slip,
Beats to be shipped,
To your brain and brawn,
Protects you in the dark dawn.

Expects you to be kind,
It and you to bind,
Together you shine,
Spark goes to mind.

Keeps doing beats,
Making you neat.
