Daylight

Daylight

A Poem by Martiya Daman

Daylight
Down the dawn goes,
Might the wind blows,
The Daylight comes,
The cold it shoves.

It arrived, all flowers dream,
Together seeing the gleam,
Trees covered with leaves,
Right after feeling the beams.

Children run up to the store,
Picking and buying ice-cream,
Wanting to know the sun's lore,
It was like a dream.

Although the sun shined for billions,
Forever keeps for Daylight,
Also helps millions,
Bringing joy and light.

.........🙂
It sure did, does for eons; we need its light and warmth; other creatures do too.
A natural leaning poem.
