Something I Never Expected (Part 2)A Story by Martiya DamanCheck out part 1 to understand more if you haven't
Sir gave us a example. He coded that when it starts it will show a heart by the Leds. All of this was in blocks, but I think I am the only one to spot that there is Java Script (Which is actually J Script) and Python. He also coded that it will show a smile on shake, a cross when upside-down and a tick when in the right side. He downloaded it, connect a cable from the Microbit to the laptop, and sent it. He picked up the Mircobit, and what he coded had transformed to real. It showed a heart, a smile when it was shaken, a cross when upside-down and a tick when it was in the right side. I was famillar with these stuff, knowing coding can come with hardware, but never have seen a thing that could do that. So, I was like real impressed. 2 weeks later, I told my dad about this. I wanted to show him a video of a Mircobit. He said he will watch it tomorrow. And? He never did. But the day after tomorrow, I went to amazon, and showed him the box of the Microbit. He asked what does it do. I said "You should have watched the video". So, I showed him the video. He was impressed. He told me to open amazon. So, I did. And he went to know more about Microbit. He found out that there were 3 versions.
1. V1 (Oldest) 2. V2 3. V2.2 (Newest) He said he was going to buy one for me. I thought that he will buy the V2 cause the newest was the most expensive. A week passed, and the Microbit arrived. I took a look at it and coded it. Whatever I did in blocks also could be transferred to J Script and Python! Later I realzied it wasn't a V2, but a V2.2. I rushed to my dad and asked "Why did you buy the latest version?" He smiled and answered "The newest is always worth it". I had real fun with the Microbit. I showed them to my friends and created Space Invadors, which is a game. I created a dice, not knowing it could do Maths.
