Love

Love

A Poem by Martiya Daman

Love
I hug my parents after school,
Making sure to follow rules,
I hug my grandparents after eating pie,
Before doing my homework in piles.

When I grew up and went to college,
I left my parents and my cottage,
I met a girl who was a roommate,
We both were from different states.

On my marriage day with the girl,
She was looking like a pearl.
On the day of birth of our child,
We kept her looking smiled.

I enjoyed too much, in the last day on my life,
They were filled with tears, my daughter and my wife.
But we showed life, we showed love,
The family was as gentle as a dove.
