Cries

Cries

A Poem by Martiya Daman

Cries
I was out in a sunny day,
It was fun, I was in the way.
But when I entered a shop,
Something was off.

I saw some children sewing clothes,
Them still not earning loads,
Why in shops they are working,
Instead of homeworking?

I bent towards a wall,
I heard sounds of men call,
I heard Cries, I heard pain,
I hope they do not get sprains.

I heard sounds of Cries and beating,
Not fair leading,
If I am a child,
Why do they keep me smiled?
