Childhood
A Chapter by Martiya Daman
How I spent my life at the age from 4-7
My parents are middle class people. The last birthday I ever remembered was when I turned 4. I left my society and joined another one. I joined Karate class and when I left after 4-5 months, I joined dance class. This dance class is special because it was the first dance class in the society. To this day, I am very good at dance. Plus, I have been in this class for 5 years, which nobody yet has achieved in the class yet for those who are still there. My teacher teaches me western, kathak and more. Afterwards, I joined a Canadian school in India called "Maple bear". At the age of 5, I left the school and joined another just like 1 km away or closer called "The Manthan school". At 6, for the last time, I left the school again and joined one of the best schools in the area called, "Louts Valley International School". The reason why I left Manthan was that my mother realized the teachers didn't teach us anything, rather give us more activities. Now, Manthan has achieved many achievements like a group of kids winning a Guinness world record for the most plastic and paper collected and some kids who competed in games or sports and won. But I think education is more important. Let's go back to the topic. Louts' valley is a giant school, with a canteen, cafeteria, courts, swimming pools, library, obviously classes and the clinic. I love this school. I was in class one, and my class was called "Magpie". A few months before March, when the session ends, my father told me that we are going to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim and Darjeeling in west Bengal. In March, we went to Gangtok and Darjeeling. I was overjoyed. I don't remember much about Gangtok, but I saw too many Momos (Dumplings) everywhere. In Darjeeling, I saw many tea plants. We even wore it traditional dress and took photos of us acting like plucking them. At 7, I was in grade two and the class was called "Tapti". In December, I finally got a chance. It was the first time I went to a foreign country. It was Vietman. I loved that place. So, I really suggest going there. I don't remember much, but I remember going to like 3 hotels, a cruise and a castle. And that age, I grew fond of reading.
