Pies, vests, poker and a stick.A Poem by Xxcrimson11xX (Martina)I wrote this poem for a contest and because I was kinda bored so i just wrote whatever came to mind. There once was a turtle that really loved pies, There was also a pizza, and a magnificent prize. Now, no more about turtles, we know what she picked. She walked towards the honey, bent her head and then sipped. Let’s talk ‘bout a penguin whose socks were the best. He had sown some together and created a vest. He then gave the vest to the zebra downtown. The zebra responded, “It looks like a crown!” The zebra and penguin became very good friends, But like every nice story, this story must end. No worries, we haven’t had just quite enough, Now onto the monkey who knew how to bluff, This monkey loved poker and liked eating limes. He played and he played till he ran out of dimes. Our last friend today is a duck with stick, He poked a few kitties and ran away quick. © 2013 Xxcrimson11xX (Martina) |
