Bitter Truth

Bitter Truth

A Poem by MellyBURSTOFbayum
"

Meh... Someone's display name sort of inspired me to write this piece... Not my best work... But whatever x]

"
You slit my throat open,
you shredded and tore,
I started to shed tears,
as the truth started to pour.

They fell on the floor,
as I felt weak.
You looked at me with disgust,
when you saw the truth leak.

I knew you would know,
The pain is excruciating,
The truth is plain hideous,
My identity is fading...

After all I have said,
I'm invisible to you now,
I'll do anything to fix this,
I seal this with a vow.

But can't you see!
You disintigrated my heart,
it burnt into ashes,
Yet, it tore me apart.

I need to be alone,
Make the right decision,
I need to think now,
Before you take my heart's vision.
