Lost

Homework assignment x]

Lost in my mind,
lost in my soul,
lost in my fantasy,
in the bitter cold.

I'm lost in the darkness,
My life is in danger,
yet, it's still peacful,
I let my dreams linger.

I slowly open my eyes,
Gah! It's too bright,
Let me back in my darkness,
and don't let me fright.

I hear a faint scream,
my eyes flutter open,
My heart is racing frantically,
My mind is out of its den.

I sprung up in shock,
Thump! the sheets fell onto the floor.
What is the racket!?
I thought as I fled through the door.

The sun's rays are hurting my eyes,
I nearly crash into the wall,
Ker-thump! goes my head,
as it broke my fall.

I scrambled up to my feet,
entering through another room,
I see my brother sleeping,
while I hear the car V-room!

I sit there dazed,
I sat there for a second,
The darkness is quicker
As the blackness pushes on me, Thump! I fell motionless.
