Character Description

Description:

Jade Hsia: Jade is a 10th grader who's mother has died from a stomach cancer. Since most of her genes are from her mother's side, she's likely to get a stomach cancer herself. The doctor also mentioned that she will have 72% of getting this, and 28% of not getting it. This is obviously painful for Jade, that means she can't love anybody... Or so she thinks. She just can't bare 2 facts. One fact, that anybody would love her as a girlfriend (Typical), and fact two, is that what is she gets that 72% while she loved somebody. She wouldn't bare tell anybody about this, not even her boyfriend. She would just hurt him no matter if she tells, or not.   She has black hair, which goes half way to her hips. She has pale skin, like any average Chinese person. She has Smoked topaz eyes... or brown, but brown is to dull for me :P.  She goes to R.H. King (Yes that's an actual school). Her friends at school, Lila and Dawn, find it hard to read her expression, as in, she can act happily, as if she meant it, but she's actually really angry. When Seth suddenly comes into her life, she finds it hard to keep her expressions hidden to herself.  She would be usually hanging out at the board walk at the beach, probably up in a tree, staring into the lake.  Her usual transportation is her dad's car. If not, probably a motorcycle.

Seth Golmen: Seth is a 10th grader, who ran away with his mom, Emma, to escape his dad, David. They have been running away from him ever since his dad about 6 murders, including his brother, Ben. Seth and Emma have been moving away from David the whole time, but he keeps showing up. Seth and Emma finally settle in Toronto, while Emma is finding a job, Seth goes to R.H. King. He doesn't want to find love either, heck; he wasn't even aware all the girls are drooling over him. But when he meets Jade, he knows he can't love her, but for some reason, he keeps getting closer to her than ever before. He's afraid if David would find them, he would go after Jade too, murdering her with the whole family, and that would just be dreadful for Seth. He tries to keep away from Jade as much as he can; afraid that one day, David would kill her, and probably hurt Seth more than killing him.  Seth has tousled black, satin hair. His skin is lightly tanned, and his eyes are the shade of sapphire. He actually wears glasses, but he usually uses contact lenses. It's easier to fight off the people David has sent. He loves sports, and he gets a lot of violent men chasing after him, so he would end up in hospitals too many times. Those men were sent by his father. Amazing eh? He tries his best protecting Emma with his dad's moves, hoping he wouldn't hurt Emma, but hurt him instead. (Self sacrificing here <<) Seth spends most of his time taking care of Emma, and possibly Jade if she was hurt. If not taking care of the two, he would be in the hospital, half unconscious.  His usual transportation is a Motorcycle.

Michael Hsia: Michael is Jade's little brother. He is in 8th grade, going to graduate off to grade 9. He's usually worried about his sister's love life, and her chances of getting the cancer cell. He never wanted to see her sister like this, especially their recent loss. He would always cry at the sight of ice cream, and hope Jade is there for him. People bully him at school, laughing at him because they call him a "sissy" for not have a girlfriend, which doesn't bother him at all. He would always try and be cheerful for Jade, and hope someday, she will find someone of her own. He gets beaten up for no reason, but one day, someone has changed all that. One of the "Popular" kids, Robyn, stood up for him. She broke up with the person who was beating up Michael. She helped him up, and everything changed for Michael ever since. They've been friends ever since. Until they went out, of course (Not getting into any detail~).  He meets a guy named Seth, and he knew that instant, that Jade would love this man.  Michael has black, tousled hair, and has the same pale skin. He loves to read as much as Jade. The two siblings would never fight, and that's great. It saves me time from writing all the fights real siblings go through.  His usual transportation is with his sister.

Emma Golmen: Emma is Seth's Mother. She is 34 years old. In 1990, she married a man of her dreams... or so she thought. Turns out the man she married was a murder all of a sudden, which killed one of her sons, Ben Golmen, leaving one of them alive, Seth Golmen. The man also killed her parents, and her siblings. The man's name, is David. This was real horror for Emma, knowing that she should of listened to her family. Now, Seth was protecting her away from David, which hurts Emma even more.  Emma has brunette hair, her eyes are the same Sapphire, just a bit duller. Her skin is pale, and usually pink due to her job. Her usual transportation is with Seth.

Alexandra Jonsberg: Alexandra is Jade's elementary enemy. She would do anything to make Jade's life miserable just for fun. She would always steal the guy she would love, knowing that she'll get her crush in time because of her... bust size? Right, anyways, She would treat her badly, like what she did with her... use-to-be dog, Jack. She would take random revenge, which made no sense what-so-ever.  Alexandra has brunette hair, her skin is fair, and her eyes are emerald colour-ish.  She would always end up with the Jade's guy. When Seth comes along, things get even dirtier than before. Like one for instance, she would sneak a kiss from Seth, when Seth is in pain, and Jade was looking over.  Her usual transportation is a limo, because daddy bought it.  Will her karma get to her someday?

David Golmen: David is the murder in this book. He would always try and kill Emma's family. He never gained respect from any of her parents or siblings. Even his own son has turn against him. Which left David no choice. He would murder every single person in Emma's family, including his sons and soon-to-be-dead wife.  He has black satin hair, and has brown eyes. His skin tone is also a bit tanned, and his mood is so violent. He knew how to do martial arts, so he taught on of his sons (Seth) which was a bad idea. Seth has used it against him a number of times, protecting himself, and Emma. But it turns out he has failed to protect Ben, his brother.  From then on, he would hire people to search them out, hoping to kill them someday.  His usual transportation is a helicopter.

Michelle Himawari: Michelle is Jade's old friend, who move to Japan. You will not hear much from her, until book 2. She has black hair, she wears glasses, and she is an A+ student. Her sarcasm can go a bit far, but of course, everyone would forgive her after 5 minutes.

Dawn Kamfu: Dawn is Jade's best friend. She's kind of a softy, but people still love her. She studies hard, and she loves her steady boyfriend, Robert. She has long Black hair, pale skin, and has brown eyes. She wears glasses, but they always seem to slip.  She can keep Jade's secret, so she knows about the 72% tumor thing.

Lila Read: Lila is also one of Jade's Best friends. She's more like the gossiping types. She always try to get the latest news, and spilling it to Jade and Dawn.  She is currently with her unsteady boyfriend, Daniel.  She has short blonde hair, Sky blue eyes, and pale skin. She tends to spread any secret that is told to her, so most people don't like her.

Robert Brown: Robert is Seth's best friend. He always cared for all of his friends. He loves her steady girlfriend, Dawn. He's always worried about his friends, especially Seth. Because to him, Seth looked unhappy all the time, but he never admits it.  Robert has Brown hair, wears glasses. His eye colour is Brown, and his skin tone is pale.

Daniel Ferting: Daniel is Seth's best friend. He is really sporty, and is kind of happy with his not-so-steady girlfriend, Lila. He seems oblivious with everything around him, unless of course, if it's a hot girl, or something that has to do with sports. He tries to be "Punk" but it never works out for him, so he just dyes his hair.  Daniel originally had Black hair, but he spiked up his hair, and dyed the ends dirt blond. His skin tone is fairly dark, and has green eyes.
