Dribble

Dribble

A Poem by Miss Kitty
"

This poetic dribble summarizes the lazy package that is me, for today. I wanted to post a real poem, but was too lazy to stand up [I have a cold, what can I say?] so this was a quick thought.

"

Quick time spinning in my soul

& I am on parole, from the cell in my brain.

Lady liberation: dangling a key.

Is this the first page,

or the last,

of some moinor  epiphany?

Another contradiction in terms.

And I’ll anoint the wound’s from which these words bleed,

But don’t try to make sense of my voice,

Really, there is no need.

It has all been said before,

But the deck,

reshuffled,

Serves for trivial entertainment.

Todays End.

I like it dribble or not, it is a way of putting you thoughts free, and empowering them and letting others learn from you. The greatest poets of this age are not going to come from academia, but from the streets. This is the new renniassance, and you are a great part of it!

I like the various interpretations the readers can get from this. I don't really understand it fully, but I think that was the point. Was it? to be vague? The first stanza It seems as if your soul is in a cell.. and your questioning your thoughts or poem... and in the second you are mending the words you write that are bleeding.. why bleeding.. you don't want to reveal. hmmm :) nice write. 100/100
