If Only

If Only

A Poem by Maroon Surreal

At night, when I'm all alone

When I remain wondering at home

About how better my life could be

If things could've been different

Or if only I obeyed my parents

Sorrows deep in my heart

If I could only go back from the start

And change things the way they should

If only the heavens will grant

I would, for I am tired

With how my existence

Had never been good.

A deeply profound write, Maroon, from the depths of your soul. Its hard living with regrets, but you have to move on the best you can, and hopefully, down the road you return to places and mend broken fences.

Nope, looks good to me the way it is. If only we had a rewind button. Oh, a pause rewind and fast forward button would be good too.
Wonderfully written, as always. Feel the if onlys running through this write.
