Deceived

Deceived

A Poem by Maroon Surreal

That scent

Captivating

Alluring

Making my heart obey

The spell that you convey.

My mind

You can never control

But you captured

My heart, my soul

For I cannot refuse

The beauty I see

Your scheme to deceive

At all times

Makes me believe.

Well penned insight into the effete resistance while under the alluring siren spell. I like this. Few have not shadowed restless captivation. Logic falls away. The heart defies the brain. And we can't stop. Nice.

Yeah. This sounds familiar. Deceit is an all too common trait. Beautifully written.
