My Unchangeable Love

My Unchangeable Love

A Poem by Poet Pittinix
"

This poem was written for a wedding reception.

"

For Tsuji

It’s not easy to come up with the appropriate words.

I don’t know what to say at this crucial moment.

But, Tsuji, when I look at your stunning face,

Copious thoughts begin to appear in my mind.

And now I can express my unchangeable love to you.

I wrote a love song to assure you of my endless love.

Tonight, I’ll sing for you and play my guitar.

You’ll hear the best baritone voice you’ve ever heard.

The way I love you tonight will never change.

My love will keep growing as we count the years.

Tsuji, I promise you my absolute faithfulness.

I’ll never deprecate your ideas and your sound advice.

Time won’t erase the memory of you from my heart

Even if unfortunate circumstances separate us.

You’re the source of my inspiration and motivation.

My passion for you goes beyond your expectation.

And it will continue to grow for an indefinite time.

Whenever I want to see the celestial lights,

I don’t have to look at the stars in the heavens.

The resplendent twinkle is right there in your eyes.

Tsuji, you’re the most exuberant person I know.

Did it ever dawn on you that you resemble a goddess?

I’m sure the guests who we’ve invited will agree.

In the presence of everyone at this wedding reception,

I proudly declare my unchangeable love for you.
