We had a good affair when it started

Love made us a happy couple

It’s a short time since we fell in love,

Yet we want to separate now

Where’s the ardour we once felt?

Where did the fire of love go?

The feeling isn’t the same as before

You and I no longer see eye to eye

We’re not in love with each other anymore

Something went wrong somewhere along the line

I’m not the man you once cherished

You’re not the woman I once admired

Darling, what has changed us?

Why should we look for a new love?
