Is Time Really Moving?

Is Time Really Moving?

A Poem by Poet Pittinix
"

This composition challenges the common theory that time is moving.

"

Why does everybody believe that time is moving?

How much do we actually know about time?

The author has a new theory that time is standing still.

Situations, people, and things change or move,

But time remains the same; it never changes or moves.

Has anybody ever thought about this subject?

Time is an abstract thing; it cannot be perceived with the senses.

Nobody can prove the theory that time is moving.

We can see and hear physical objects moving.

Moreover, we can see and hear events taking place,

But we can only envisage time moving in the imagination.

A scientific theory should not be taken as a fact.

We theorise that time is moving because of the rotation of the earth.

The earth is a physical object; it is not time itself.

People measure time by the rising and setting of the sun.

The sun is a physical object; it is not time itself.

When the hands of a clock are moving, we feel that time is moving.

A clock is a mechanical object; it is not time itself.

How do we determine the past, present, and future?

The past, present, and future depend on actions.

For example, the rising and setting of the sun, as mentioned earlier.

People say time is passing when something is happening.

We feel, see or hear, smell or taste physical things.

The things that we can perceive moving are not time.

The advancement of technology is not a sign of time moving;

Rather, it is the development of the human ability.

We feel that we are aging because of the passing of time.

Aging is a physical process; it is not time itself.

We can feel and observe the effects of aging,

But the fact is that we cannot do the same with time.

Does it really matter whether time is moving or not?

We cannot present facts about something that we do not understand.

Humans came up with the idea of measuring time.

Where is the evidence that immortal beings measure time?

If time were moving, it would not depend on the rotation a celestial body.

The belief that time is moving is based on misconceptions.
