Poetry ContestsA Poem by Poet PittinixThis poem challenges the way some members of websites host poetry contests. Some
poetry contests have distasteful and uninteresting titles. Poets
should encourage others to write uplifting poems. Many
authors and critics do not have a sense of good writing. Sometimes
the judges unfairly judge the poetry contests. All
entries should be given the same opportunity to win. Some
members of websites form online friendships and cliques. They
promote favouritism and ignore the work of other poets. When
the host of a contest requests a public vote, The
members of the cliques vote for each other’s entries. As a result, the best compositions do not usually win the prizes. © 2024 Poet PittinixAuthor's Note
