The Sea

It's a poem about swimming in the sea.

Inspired by Sil

 

Did you know that mountains are in the sea?

You have to contend with the scary water.

Sometimes you encounter mountain-like waves.

Bear in mind that you are not a fish.

Even if you are an excellent swimmer,

Anything can happen when you swim offshore.

You may get in difficulty and panic.

Let me give you some helpful advice.

 

Do not pay attention to the size of the sea.

You will not drown in the whole sea,

But you could drown in a small part of it.

You should never overexert yourself.

Focus on the water that closely surrounds you.

The rest of the sea will not affect you.

As long as you can keep afloat where you are,

You will overcome your fear and stay alive.
