One-sided CommentingA Poem by Poet PittinixThe poem encourages fair commenting.People should feel free
to make favourable or unfavourable comments on any subject matter, But when we have
one-sided commenting on websites, we only hear unfavourable opinions. The people who are in
favour of the truth should willingly come forward and express their views.
It seems that only the
gay community comments on anti-gay compositions on some websites. Most people disagree
with homosexuality and lesbianism, but they keep silent on the issue. Perhaps some heterosexuals
are afraid to speak up because of the oppressive laws in their countries.
Narrow-minded people
think one way about an issue and they dismiss the views of others, But those with broad
minds entertain the views of others even though they have their own views. Those who make malicious
comments are having themselves a ball because nobody objects.
As I have said many
times, the truth can stand by itself; it does not require acceptance or support. Some people allow others
to brainwash them with laws and rules into accepting wrong things. The laws of mankind and
morality have nothing in common because legislators have no integrity.
This composition is not
saying that people do not have the right to practise what they want. The point of this
composition is that we have the right to disagree with anybody or anything we
want. These verbal attacks on
my poetry do not surprise me because I expected this to happen.
People with guilty
consciences and haters of the truth usually attempt to silence an agitator. Those who think insulting
remarks can hurt me or deter me from speaking are making a big mistake.
I am using this
stumbling block as a stepping-stone in that it is making me a better writer. © 2024 Poet PittinixAuthor's Note
