Stop Kidnapping the Children

For the missing children and their families

Someone seizes an unsuspecting child.

The child cries out in agony.

Please don’t kill me!

I want my mother; I want to go home.

Just let me go, please!

The fight-stricken child struggles in vain.

When an innocent child is missing,

A sad mother weeps bitterly,

An angry father swears vengeance,

And a sibling will grow up alone.

Don’t ignore the people in distress.

No one should suffer in this way.

Release the victims from bondage.

Allow the children to strive.

Let them enjoy their childhood.

The minors want to have fun.

Why end their hopes and aspirations?

Leave the children alone!

Stop selling them into sexual slavery.

Think deeply of a helpless child,

A child that stretches out its arms to hug,

A child with a heart of love.

Imagine that child locked in a dark place.

Can you feel that child’s fear?

Can you see that child’s tears?

Let’s protect the defenceless children

Whether they’re yours or mine.

No matter whose child it is,

Every child has the right to freedom.

Why do people commit such ruthless acts?

Stop kidnapping the children.
