Another Lonely, Sleepless Night

It's a poem of love and blues.

Tonight, I feel very lonely and frustrated

She broke her solemn vows and went away

And my shattered heart can’t be mended

I’ll see another dawn without my baby

 

How did our happy marriage go wrong?

I’m so disappointed in my efforts to save it

Tonight is another lonely, sleepless night

And I have good reasons to cry for my baby

 

I don’t want to see the bright stars again

And I find no contentment in living alone

The nights of sensual pleasures are gone

I miss the relationship I had with my baby
