Superstar

Superstar

A Poem by Poet Pittinix
"

This is a poem about the rise and fall of superstars.

"

You are a maestro and a great performer

Acting and singing made you a superstar

Patrons enjoy your magnificent performance

There is always a large audience at the concerts

Your ecstatic fans idolize and glorify you

Millions of music lovers play your songs

People throng to cinemas to see your movies

You seem to be having the time of your life

Though you are a rich and famous person,

Everything you possess including ability is vanity

You are conceited, and you like to show off

Money is certainly a bad influence on you

Do not forget where you came from

Glamour and stardom will not last forever

You will gradually lose the bloom of youth

And you will no longer be a superstar
