A Wedding in Autumn (the reception)A Poem by Poet PittinixIt's all about a wedding reception.Tinted balloons, silky ribbons and bouquets adorn the venue in mid-autumn Wow! It’s the happiest day in our lives
Anxious guests assemble at the diner awaiting the arrival of the newlyweds The extraordinary floral arrangement makes the occasion merrier
Instrumentals for wedding reception are playing Best wishes and congratulations all are giving
Eligible bachelors and bachelorettes are hoping that someone will soon become attracted to them
Expensive gifts in decorative wrapping papers fill our appreciative hearts with joy
Local delicacies are being served at the tables The classic setting makes it more romantic
There’s a hush from the audience as the dazzling mini-bride gives her rendition of the popular song, “From This Moment On”
It’s time for the main performance of the event I move the hearts of the guests as I recite for my bride an original poem entitled, “Love Came with You”
Why are couples so excited on their wedding day? Perhaps the answer lies in these poetic lines
It’s an excellent feeling to be present at a banquet where words of love are circulating
But nobody says, “You’re very adorable” sweeter
than I do to my beautiful bride as we begin to dance the opening number
