She Doesn't Have to KnowA Poem by Poet PittinixThis is an intriguing love story. For Sara Should
I let Sara know how I feel about her? I
want to win her heart, and I’m dying to be in her arms, But
I won’t say sweet words to entice her.
I
wish I could be near her as often as possible, But
I can’t let her know that I care about her. If
I don’t talk to her, how else can I reach her heart?
She
seems to be quite happy with her fiancé, So
I don’t want her wrapped in an eternal triangle. I
must prevent my lust for her from showing.
She
may not understand how my love blaze for her. I
can hardly stand to see her engagement ring. I
need to get a grip on myself and control my thinking.
How
can I get the girl whom I love out of my mind? I
want to tell her that she’s the reason I’m hurting, But
I’ll leave her alone so she can concentrate on her life.
I
wonder what she’d do if I approach her about it. Maybe
it’s better to let things remain as they are. She
doesn’t have to know that I live just next-door. © 2024 Poet PittinixAuthor's Note
