The composition talks about the laws of man and morality.

It is a fact that not every lawful thing is morally right,

Neither is every unlawful thing morally wrong.

 

Something is essentially wrong with the laws of man

Why should anybody respect biased, unjust laws?

 

Many laws are inhumane, oppressive, and impious,

For example, the brutal persecution of Christians.

 

Is it really beneficial and advantageous to obey laws?

The authorities cannot convince the people of this.

 

Politics is a disgusting thing, and it is definitely a snare.

The intention of politicians is to tyrannize poor people.

 

No well-bred person would take advantage of others.

Honest men and women do not get involved in politics.
